Ecological Wellness Series Workshop #1

“Tending the Soil Within & Around Us”

Workshop #1: “Start Where You’re Planted”
Thursday, August 21
4—6pm
421 Decatur St SW
Olympia, Washington

This four-part ecological wellness series invites you to see your body, mind, and community as living ecosystems. Just like soil, we need balance, biodiversity, and nourishment to thrive. Through a blend of somatic practices, land connection, herbal care, and collective storytelling, we’ll explore how ecological principles—like decomposition, mycelial networks, and nutrient cycling—can help us heal from burnout, restore vitality, and grow deeper roots of resilience.

Each session includes a wellness practice, community conversation, and hands-on herbal or land-based activity. Come as you are—leave composted, connected, and more alive.

Workshop #1: “Start Where You’re Planted”
Begin by tuning into your inner and outer soil. We’ll explore the connection between place-based living and personal presence. Includes a land-walk, somatic grounding practices, and creating a personal “garden journal”. Learn to listen to the land and your body as one integrated ecology.

Theme: Grounding, boundaries & ecological context

Drop-in $40 per workshop |
